New DARS participant – Ashmolean Museum

We are delighted to announce that on the 15 December, the Ashmolean Museum became the 57th participant to join DARS.

New BBIS website

In early December we launched the eighth BBIS website of 2015 - Oxford Law. Our colleagues in the Faculty of Law have chosen to go live with a tailored online donation form, and will release further functionality in January.

Raising awareness of Support Centres

Over recent months, our friends in IT Services have been developing some marketing materials to raise aware of the business systems on offer to our colleagues across the collegiate university.

Working with a third party partner, Clarity Sage Communications, IT Services have developed a very slick and informative video that gives a high level overview of the Support Centres, with particular emphasis on DARS. The video can be found at http://www.it.ox.ac.uk/about/highlights/support-centres.

Data Entry Assistants

We are currently taking bookings for Data Entry Assistants from late February onwards. Our DEAs are trained on DARS to undertake a variety of data entry tasks, and are available for 10 to 20 hours per week, on a first come first served basis. They are charged to participants at £13.53/hour.

To book a DEA, simply complete the DARS Data Entry Assistants Request Form found at https://www.darscentral.ox.ac.uk/requestforms and return it to the DARS Help Desk. We will then get in contact to arrange the fulfilment of the request.
